The Jigglewatts Burlesque Revue brings their famous live band burlesque show back to the stage with the darkly dazzling and macabre rock 'n' roll of Mr. Lewis & the Funeral 5 at 8:00 p.m. (doors at 7:00 p.m.) Thursday, October 27 at The Ballroom at Spider House, 2906 Fruth St. in Austin, Texas. The Huffington Post calls their show “sassy and sexy…classy entertainment.” The band and dancers are a natural fit for the shadowy moods of spooky season, and The Jigglewatts collaborated with the band on their last two album release parties. October’s show includes Jigglewatts troupe members Ruby Joule, Jolie Goodnight, Ruby Lamb, Something Blue, Lady Lola LeStrange, Alexander the Great, Pearl Lux, Selma Bawdy, and a very special guest star to be announced soon! This ongoing burlesque residency at The Ballroom at Spider House features live music, comedy, drag, variety, and world-class burlesque performances in a swanky cabaret setting. The Jigglewatts Burlesque is a perfect match for this jewel-box of a space where floor to ceiling red velvet curtains, an artfully appointed stage, and an aura of old Vaudeville add to the immersive experience. Guests can also look forward to saucy door prizes and goodie bags from Forbidden Fruit boutique. "Eye-popping glamour...a burlesque troupe with a racy show that's not to be missed," writes Steven Moser of the Austin Chronicle.
